Storyboard - Second Draft
After filming and editing my music video, I found that most of what I had produced looked different to what I had initially planned - for example, the video began with clips of the sky and my paper figures, rather than an establishing shot of the park and the people, and I added shots of crowds of people and a girl standing in the park, which were not in my initial plan. I added these because my initial planned shots did not accommodate the length of the song, which was three minutes and thirty-nine seconds. As a result, I had to change some frames so that they matched what was in the video.

Having edited the storyboard, I later had to show my music video to the rest of my class so they could evaluate it, writing down what they liked and what could be improved. The two most common criticisms were that there was no clear narrative and there were too many random shots, a few of which were repeated. I therefore decided that I would change my video by taking the animated sequences (which the students enjoyed the most) and expand upon them so it would form the basis of the music video; annotations and notes were added to the storyboard to demonstrate how the shots would be developed and what would be removed in order to create a meaningful vision for myself regarding what I wanted to produce.
